WOODLAND HILLS KINDERGARTEN FALL FESTIVAL!
REQUESTED BY: Danielle Zurisko
BENEFITS: Kindergartners and their families across the District
BACKGROUND: Previously funded by a grant and project called Parents as Allies, the Kindergarten Fall Festival has been successfully hosted at the Wilkins Township Fire Hall for the past 2 years. The Kindergarten Fall Festival invites all current Kindergarten students and families from Edgewood, Turtle Creek and Wilkins Elementary to attend a social event where teachers and school staff can socialize in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. This family-school engagement and collaboration event is geared toward Kindergarten to help engage the newest families to the Woodland Hills School District!
At this 2-hour event, held on a Saturday in early November, students, families, and Woodland Hills staff will enjoy fall themed games, crafts, prizes, a face painter, fire trucks, and lunch! In the past we had a wonderful turnout of over 100 people including staff, students and families. We hope to continue this tradition for many years to come!
DREAM REQUESTED: Lunch, drinks, face-painters, games, prizes, crafts, and decorations for 100+ guests
DREAM AMOUNT: $1,500.00
