BACKGROUND:

We are pleased to announce that TWO Woodland Hills students competed in FBLA Regionals and have qualified to compete at the Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference! Loraine Mendoza competed in the category of Cybersecurity and placed third while Max Duvall competed in Intro to FBLA and placed second! They have both been invited to represent Woodland Hills School District at the State Level at the annual State Leadership Conference on April 7-9 in Hershey, PA. 

4,000 students from all over the state of PA will competie for the top 4 spots in their respective events or the chance to advance to the national arena in Anaheim, CA. This is a chance of a lifetime for many students, to network and attend some of the power-packed workshops, while competing at the state level. The conference is a three day long event in Hershey. There are phenomenal keynote speakers scheduled and a closing award ceremony. 

While the FBLA has been able to raise enough money to cover the cost of registration, they still need to cover lodging, transportation and food. The FBLA is currently also selling Nothing Bundt Cakes and have a Triangle Hoagie fundraiser set up in order to cover the cost of food and transportation.  Additionally, Ms. Tabb has been able to reserve rooms at a much lower expense than what is offered directly through the FLBA Conference website. Your donation will help cover the cost for lodging and will ensure that these two worthy students can experience a chance of a lifetime and attend FBLA’s 2025 State Leadership Conference in Hershey April 6-9.
