BENEFITS: Woodland Hills Marching Band and Images Visual Ensemble

BACKGROUND: When rehearsing, the students and staff of the Woodland Hills Marching Band and Images rely on a sound system.  The sound system allows the staff and students leaders to utilize a microphone so that they are audible to the entire group when giving instructions.  This is quite helpful when the band is on the practice field and spread out over 80 plus yards! Our current sound system has reached the end of its usefulness after many years in hot, cold, and wet conditions.  The time has come to replace the system, allowing our 126-member group to rehearse efficiently. The system can also be used if we need to mic soloists on the field during our halftime performances. As we begin a new season, a functioning sound system will be a huge help! This year’s field show is titled, “Goin’ Down the Bayou,” and we will end the season with a major trip to New Orleans and Nashville in February! Thank you for your support!
